Today we made gingerbread houses with some friends! The kids did really well considering the fact that they were surrounded by sugar - just a few sneaks here and there! Shayla made a gingerbread train that Nana (Jon's mom) had given her! Thanks Nana it was fun! My memory of gingerbread houses is that my aunt Sheelah would often bring one to our home for Christmas that she or one of her patients made and then after or close to Christmas day, the younger kids would demolish it!
