One of the strong associations with Christmas and my family is comic books. Books have always been a big part of gifts at our Christmases growing up, and comic books always made their appearance in the gift pile usually for my dad who was a big fan of certain strips and as we kids got older for us as well. Every Christmas morning after gifts were opened and we were hanging around enjoying our gifts and each others company, there was always a few of us lounging around or the couch reading a comic strip book. In our household Calvin and Hobbes was always a favorite, Matt Groening books (not the Simpson ones but "School is Hell" and Life is Hell" and I liked Far Side!
In honor of that, here are a few fun Calvin Famous snow comic strips.

Comic strip books are so great--what a neat family tradition to keep up, I think. Loving your Christmas blogging Laris!
I love rat and pig and Dilbert, too!
