Princess Party!

We have been going to lots of fun birthday parties lately and of course Shayla loves to party with her friends! This one has photos of her with friends at a Princess party with a trampoline and with Snow White as guest - she loved her face painting too! Thx Emily!

Princesses and Trains

More fun! Two fun play dates - we had a dress up party where Shay wore her Tinkerbell dress up clothes for the first time, and Jon went with Shayla to see Thomas the Train who was in town with cousin Tony - they had fun of course with Topham Hat and the crew!

Two Months Old

Today Mitchell had his two month appointment - he is growing great and is a big boy but not as big as Shayla was at his age (and she started a pound under him!), Anyway, here are his stats -

13 pounds, 1 oz (85%), 25.5 inches (96%), 40.5 cm head.

Also, I wanted to do something with him every month to show his growth so I am taking photo with a block with his month age on it. I never posted month one, so here's month two and one of Month 1 (they look really similar huh?)

Boy oh Boy - Cousins!

My sister in law had a baby boy, Dax Taylor, a month before Mitchell was born. Her son Isaiah is also only a week younger than Shayla (and no we did not plan it!). It is great to have them so close in age and to see them grow up together and we look forward to seeing these 2 cute boys grow up together too!

Here they are - Mitchell at 7 weeks old (about 12.5 pounds) and Dax at 11 weeks old (about 15.5 pounds)!

Mitchell's Blessing Day

Yesterday was a very special day for us. It was the day that our baby boy received his special blessing (a special prayer at church that gives them their name and special promises for their life) at church. Many of the influential men in his life were there to participate and it was great to have my family that lives nearby here as well! Here are photos of the day!

Shayla is still such a sweet sister always wanting to hug, hold and read to him. Here she is in her pjs reading to him again while he is taking his long morning nap - she insisted even though he was sleeping and "read" the whole pile of books to him that you see on the table!

Easter Wrap Up!

So I know I am a few days late, but here is the Easter wrap up from last week and Easter! We had a fun build up to the special day and we were able to share Easter Sunday with Jon's parents, grandpa and my aunt and uncle Doug & Sheelah! And kids always make it extra special!
