Another way I know that Christmas time is upon us is when I participate in my best friend Heather's annual Ladies Social and Ornament Exchange! It has been going on now for about 6 years or so (maybe longer?) and I look forward to going every year. This year her party was this weekend, so I was able to leave Shayla at home with Jon and head out for a day of friendship, fun and food! We had a great time like always and I got a pretty new ornament for the tree! So this is another one of my personal traditions (: Here's to many more years of them!

Virginia and Tina - there was a costume for most festive attire and these ladies were in the lead. Tina (with antlers) won because, among other things, she was wearing actual long johns with the butt flap and all!
