At my church, everyone has some sort of assignment they are in charge of. My "assignment" or calling as it is known, is activities chair. That means I am in charge of all the activities that we do in our ward/congregation. One of our big activities each year is our Christmas party where we always hope to have many families attend and serve a nice dinner and have a nice program. This year, our party, which I was in charge of, was last night. I do not have a committee (yet?) so I had some awesome volunteers help out with decorating, food, etc. We had a nice "fireside" theme and had a cute program, yummy food and we had someone taking family Christmas photos. Oh, and of course, Santa comes for the kids! I think it went great, but I am glad it is over since it is such a time commitment so now I can focus on stuff at home (like Christmas cards, decorating, laundry, etc)... (: Until next year...here are some pics from the party...
