Wow looking back at April we squeezed a lot into this month - it's no wonder it seemed to fly by - we were either busy having fun or swapping a cold between us and resting at home!! Anyway, here are some highlights of the month that I had not posted about yet! I shared most of this on facebook so some of you have seen these photos already!
April Fool's Day - the kids had frozen milk in their breakfast cereal and jello (acting as juice) for breakfast and for dinner we had mashed potato cupcakes that were real cupcakes (see below) and fake cupcakes made of mashed potatoes! The kids fell for it!
We went to this cool local goat farm -Chivas Goat Farm - where they make goat milk soap. They had an open house to introduce us the kids to the kids (baby goats!). They had some other animals there too!

We had a fire scare (again) with the hills behind our house caught fire - luckily the wind was on our side and kept far enough away from us...
We went whale watching and saw 4 whales and some dolphins and birds and Mitchell was the most excited about seeing the seaweed floating by!
The girl scouts used some of the money they raised selling cookies to support a local no-kill shelter - they loved helping out!

Fun! I love Shayla's pink pepperdine jacket and the one with them holding a snake! We love snakes too around here!
