The past few years our church has partnered with the County of Ventura as part of a statewide Mormon Helping Hands Community Service day to provide service and beautify the community across the state! The past few years I have been in charge of it as well doing publicity, helping find a needy location, organizing tasks, supplies, etc. Yesterday was the actual event which was held in Foster Park in Ventura. We cleared campsites of tons of leaves, painted picnic tables, installed new fence posts and brick work, trimmed trees and bushes. It was a success! Here are some photos of my kids participating!
