I am now entering the Blog world!!! I knew it was only a matter of time, especially since I live so much of my life on/by the computer/internet! A few things led me to finally post my own family blog:
- Family & Friends: It’s the fastest way to stay in touch with a group of you – especially since I had 3 sisters move farther away this month (one to Japan, one to Utah, and one to Maryland!) and I want to keep in the loop and keep you all updated with the Nelson life!
- I want to share the ups and downs of life and motherhood – and at least pretend someone cares!
- My baby girl Shayla – I have to be a proud parent sending out as many photos and updates of my little girl that I think you can handle! She is growing up so quickly!
So, here we are, with my life now open to cyberspace. I hope to share lots of photos, ideas, thoughts, recipes, joys, etc with you all and hope to get your feedback too!
I am going to backtrack a bit to get the beginning of Shayla’s life on the blog and then go from there, so ENJOY THE INSIGHT INTO OUR LIVES!

Larissa, glad to see you've joined the world of blogging! Shayla is so beautiful, and you seem to be bursting with adoration for her, like a good mom should. : ) I loved her announcement! Keep posting.
