August 6, 2007 - Yesterday Shayla and I returned from the first Hulihan Family reunion that we have had for a while! All of my siblings and their families made it except Tommy and Christine as he is in training for I.C.E. Homeland Security in Georgia, and Christine did not want to travel alone with Isaiah and Kalea. My parents came as did Janie Ward with Rick, Leslie, and Jesse and Charlie and Lisa Smith came with all their kids. Also, Rachel Cera came out to see everyone too. We had the reunion at the Mountain Man Cabins at Rendezvous Beach at Bear Lake, Utah from August 1-4. The best part of the reunion was the opportunity that all the cousins had to play together and meet everyone. Everyone was able to meet Shayla and Cash for the first time for most of them. It had been 10 years since all of my family had seen Janie’s family (except me as I had been to Heather’s wedding last year and saw everyone). All the cousins and nieces and nephews are growing up so fast, having time to spend with them all is so precious! They are all so smart and unique and it is fun to get to know them better!
Shayla did great on her first plane ride. Slept the whole way back too! Here are some pictures of Shayla at the Reunion as well as my wonderful family!
