Today as I was heading for a meeting in Camarillo, my tire BLEW out on the highway! I must have hit or ran over something because just the previous day I inspected my tires and put air in them (which I rarely do!). It was no fun to pull over on the side of the small shoulder on the road and wait for AAA (although thank you for AAA!). I was nervous being in my car so close to the road and so many semis passing by (see picture behind my car), so I stood in the dirt on the side of the road and shooed red ants of my legs and flies off Shayla while we waited! A good Samaritan - Alex from Ventura County Fire Dept - stopped by and waited for AAA to arrive to make sure I was okay!
