...the easy answer is...go to the Ventura Ranch KOA! Camping with kids is a lot easier when they are fully entertained!! This is our second camping trip to this neat camping place that is barely 15 minutes from our house!!! We camped here back in May and I realized I never posted that blog post - I had it in draft on my blog - oops - so I will post those pics after this post so you can see what a cool camping destination this is! Anyway, we joined about 10 other families this past weekend for some camping adventures! It has so many fun things for the kids to do and close to a strem for wading in, small nature trails, perfect weather, etc. Here are some of the things we did on our campout!
Giant Jumping Pillow (yes that is dirt on Mitchells mouth not chocolate)
Play on the cool spaceship made out of water tanks and odds and ends (like old keyboard for spaceships motherboard, etc)
Play on the pirate ship (Mitchell playing captain with his buddies Chase and Nolan)
Shayla loved obstacle course time!
Rock Climbing wall
Play in dirt some more...
Ride the bike track
Had a visit from Weinermobile at the campsite!
Went on zipline with Shayla and Dad
And of course Shayla wanted to go again and so did Mom!
Wheee....fun times!
