Shayla had one of her best friends, Hailey, spend the night this weekend and they had such a blast! It was amazing how easy they were since they just wanted to do their own thing and the few activities Shayla picked out beforehand (from her Princess Kids Magazine) that she wanted to do were all simple and fun things they could do on their own. The girls stayed up late (but not too late) laughing and when I asked them what they were laughing about Shayla said they were telling jokes - hmm what kind of jokes do 4 year olds tell? Shay woke up at 3 am and said it was morning and she wanted to make bracelets. They woke up sometime in the am and snuck Jon's iphone from his bedside table and were quietly watching movies on Netflix app when we got up at 7. I think they had already been up a few hours, but hey, I would have them quiet in her room over waking us up at 5 am anyday (: Good times!
