Stand Up For Cancer!

Some of you may know that my dad has cancer (CLL- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia). He has been on a trial treatment this past year and so far he is responding great to it and it looks like it is putting his cancer into remission - we hope permanently!
My sister-in-law Tara also recently had a cancerous growth removed that was a form of skin cancer (Morpheaform (sclerosing) Basal Cell). It appears they got it all we hope too!
Thank goodness for medical intervention and faith!

On that note, help support cancer awareness by watching the commercial-free special Stand Up For Cancer tonight - Friday, September 5, 2008 - on TV. It will be on ABC, CBS, and NBC.

My family is so grateful for the results of the cancer research that has been helping my dad and we hope our government would put much more money into cancer research!
