So, Shayla loves to run around the backyard and so I have been spending more time in the
backyard! Jon has been good with planting yummy things we like to eat fresh from the garden, we have a nice herb garden, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, melons, and a few other things that we hope to have this year from our trees. He started late this year, but the weather here is so mild we will still probably get some great stuff this year! - see below for more of whats in our backyard!

This is our surprise tree- it was supposed to be an orange tree but last year we got lemons growing on it - oops! Well, makes great lemonade!
Our sole tangelo - not sure how this tree will survive!
Our first cantaloupe trying to grow! I hope these turn out great - Shayla and I both love this stuff! We also have watermelon trying to grow, so we will see how that works as well!
Our dog Joia - always ready with a wet tongue to kiss you with!

And, of course, Shayla - already helping with chores - here she is helping to feed the dogs!

That bowl is almost as big as SHE is! :D What a great garden you've got going. I really look forward to having our own yard to do things like that. Yummy!
