This past month has been full of many milestones for Shayla and she has been involved in many fun things, so I thought I would share a post about Shayla's latest happenings!
Shayla's First Dance Recital
She took hip hop dance classes this year and had a blast.
Her first recital was June 7th at Fillmore City Hall and her class had fun and did great! It was very entertaining number to Michael Jackson!
Shayla also had her first ukulele performance last month (and coincidentally also did a Michael Jackson song - ABC by Jackson 5).
Shayla's first Science fair project.
She wanted to see which paper airplane flew the farthest so she learned how to make 3 types of airplanes and tested them out!
Bridging from Daisies! After 2 years as a Girl Scout Daisy, Shayla had her official bridging to Brownie ceremony where the girls move up in Girl Scouts to become Brownies. I am still Girl Scout leader for the year ahead as well and we have a great group of girl who are all continuing on to Brownies!

Shayla continues to love art as well and her is her recent school painting she did at year end!
