End of School!!!

So, another school year has come to an end and it's summertime!!!!  

What a fun year!  

MITCHELL finished his year of 3's preschool! 

Mitchell LOVED being in preschool and had a great time!  He got voted the "Best Friend" in the class "yearbook"!  About half the kids in the class claimed Mitchell as their best friend! He is a good buddy and plays well with others!  We will have lots of play dates this summer with all of his best friends!

SHAYLA finished 1st grade yesterday!!!  She also loved school!  She had a great teacher (Ms. Bautista) and a fun class environment!  She thrives in classroom setting and really took off with her reading this year easily reading over 300,000 words this year to help with the schools 75 million word goal (although we didn't start tracking them until April through AR).  She opened up a bit more and was able to participate in the school variety show and science fair. She enjoyed playing Pokemon during recess and helping out in the class when needed. She is now our little second grader!!

We kicked off the last day of school with a summer breakfast and the kids getting their new summer binders filled with fun activities, weekly calendars, reading charts, goals, chore charts and more!
