So Jon and I hit the road end of May to celebrate our 12th anniversary! Last minute planning as we could not decide where we wanted to go - but we headed out to Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo!
A good omen? We hit 100,000 miles on the drive there!
Maybe it means we can go the distance!
The Madonna Inn is SO cool - I have never seen it before and I guess it is very famous. We got one of the last 2 rooms left so all the really awesomely decorated rooms were already sold out, but we got the Portuguese room! We went on a horse back ride - I have not been forever - I had taken a horse back riding class at Pepperdine and Jon used to ride a horse when he was a kid on the family ranch.
Then off to Pismo where we did a Segway rode - I loved it because we were on our own and not part of a tour so we could ride wherever - even on the beach!
And off into the woods (;
We had a great time and it was nice to celebrate as a couple!
