So for the past few years, I have been going every year to the California Governors Conference in Long Beach, CA. It is always a remarkable event with lots of inspirational speakers and performers. This year there was everyone from Madeline Albright to Katie Couric to Alicia Keys to Jane Goodall! You can watch some of the talks/events on-line at www.californiawomen.org. What amazing ladies! I went with sis-in-law Christine and one of my longest standing friends Michelle Chow! Shayla got to stay at Christines and hang out with Tommy and her cousins. The next day I was able to catch up with another friend and her 2 boys at the Santa Ana Zoo (hey Christie we ddn't get any pics of us - only the kids!) It's great having some great girl time and spending time with those you love.
