On Saturday, Jon, Shayla and I flew up to Tuscon on a last minute trip (we got our tickets on Tuesday), to purchase a new vehicle for me and to visit my old college roommate, Trina and her husband Neil. It was a fun, last minute trip and although I was worried about holiday traffic as we were driving our new car home, we had none! Yay! And, once again, Shayla did great and slept he whole 8 hour drive back (we left at 5:30 pm)

We went hiking in the Tuscon desert with Trina and Neil by Finger Rock Point trail . It was a perfect day with beautiful views!
I guess the hike tired Shayla out too!
