My little baby is THREE today! I am so spoiled to have the best little boy in the whole world! He is the best little guy a mom could ask for (except maybe the fact that he stopped taking naps already!!! Argh!)
Here is a bit about my three year old!
Favorite Things:
-Toys: Without a doubt it would be cars – especially HOT WHEELS – he sleeps with them, plays with them, carries them around in his backpack, etc. He also loves large floor puzzles right now. And he loves to set up his train tracks and race his train around the track. He also loves to play ball and ride his balance trike or big wheel. Basically all boy – cars, trains, balls, bikes!
-Color: GREEN! Loves anything green and watch out if you forget to give him his green cup or plate and accidentally give him yellow or orange.
-Food: Frosted Mini Wheats, Eggs, Bananas and Strawberries.
-TV Show: Somehow he found out about and LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba (I never watched it with Shay and I guess it is not that bad), he also loves Diego and the Meet the Phonic videos (and even the meet the letters, shapes, etc videos too). He also loves the Cars movies of course.
-Animal: Tiger – Since Shayla loves Cheetah’s he always says Tigers since he gravitates towards things similar to her.
-Best Friends: Shayla, Summer, Noelle, Chase, Brayden and Evan
-He’s an awesome brother - They play so well together – play dough, riding bikes together, playing whatever game Shayla cooked up – school, dog pound, dance party, etc. He plays so well with her and is so loving to all of us! He loves to wrestle with daddy before bed and loves snuggling on the couch to read his books – his favorite are the Kids National Geographic and the Cars, Dump Truck, Bulldozer book series he got for Christmas!
A few other tidbits:
-He loves his mom to sing him to sleep and still sleeps in his crib (although that will change very shortly), he just never has been one to try to escape his crib or run away from me or push the limits. - His favorite Ipad app is the Cupcake app maker – where you design and decorate cupcakes! Of course, he chooses green for everything (green paper lining, green batter, green frosting and green sprinkles).
-He has to organize his cars by color and in line whenever he puts them somewhere and he remembers every car he has and if one is missing.
-He loves cracking eggs for me when I bake and always comes running when I pull my baking stuff out asking to break the eggs!
-He goes to his “Big Boy” preschool (what he calls it) a few hours two times a week and loves his class Hamster who he calls a “Shmaters” and it’s name is Coco Loco.
-He loves to dance – he has the cutest little moves and wiggle and makes this scrunchy nose when he really gets into a groove!
I never want to forget the joy, the wonder, the awe Mitchell finds in the simplest moments with me. He reminds me every day the joy of childhood and life. And he brings me more joy than I could imagine!
I love him with every ounce of my being and more!
