We had fun ushering in 2012 this year! We started by converting our Christmas tree to a New Years tree so when the kids woke up on New Years Eve the tree was covered with balloons, noise makers, poppers, sparklers, etc. The balloons had coins in them and ideas of things to do (sing a song, share your fav memory of 2011, have a thumb war, etc). Got this cute idea online.

Then we went to a firends house for an early New Years Party - we had dinner, trampoline fun, toasted the new year and more.

Then we came home and had some friends over for some more New Years celebration - the girls decorated cookies and did sparklers while the boys ran around and the adults chatted and played pool! A fun start to what we hope will be a fun year!!!
