On Saturday, we went on a trip to Buena Vista Lake to spend time with the family and have some fun in the water (wakeboarding, tubing, splashing!). This was Shayla's first trip to the lake and first time on our boat! Jon goes almost every weekend in the summer, so we are sure (we hope!) she will love the water and water sports! It was a hot day (108 when we left the lake - but cool on the lake, and 107 in Fillmore when we got back!)

Larissa, Shayla, Rachel and Tony - the life jacket on Shayla was constricting (it was the right size though - they are supposed to be snug!) but she couldn't turn her head (chubby neck!) all the way or raise her arms up all the way, I couldn't help laughing at her she looked so cute and funny - don't worry though, she got used to it within 1 minute!

Oh that looks like so much fun...Shayla looked adorable in the life jacket...super cute.
I bet Shayla will love the water since she gets to start having such good experiences at such a young age. She's so cute in her life jacket!
Heehee--she couldn't turn her head--that's too funny! I bet Jon loves his little girl out on the lake with him. Great pics!
