I took Shayla on her first trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo this week. We thought it would be fun to feed the giraffes to commemorate the first trip, so here we are feeding the giraffes. Shayla was not scared and thought it was pretty neat! The giraffe loved her food and licked her lips afterwards!

Those are great pictures...I love going to the zoo, it is a lot of fun with little ones.
I recently had the opportunity to be licked by a giraffe. It's not as pleasant as it looks. It's also hot and sticky. Shayla looks like she enjoyed it though... kids are used to sticky stuff I guess.
