Prayer Requests

I truly believe in the power of prayer!

LDS prophet Ezra Taft Benson once said it best -

"The example of people praying is more awe-inspiring, more powerful, than the explosion of an atomic bomb. The force of prayer is greater than any possible combination of man-controlled powers."

Please add my sister and my dad to your prayers this week!

• My sister, Molly, will be having gall bladder surgery on Monday, hopefully solving the years of stomach pain she has been having (and this only a little more than a month after giving birth to her 4th child!). Please pray that the doctors hands will be guided properly, that the surgery will go well, that this will solve her problems, and that she will have a fast, easy recovery!

• My dad, John, will be starting treatment this week for his Stage 4 cancer - Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He will be starting an experimental 7 -month trial (led by some of the top CLL experts in the world) to help treat - and possibly even cure - his cancer! Please pray that his treatment is successful, that the doctors will be inspired, that the side effects are minimal, that he will have energy and positive attitude to get through each day, and that my mom will also have the strength to help my dad on his journey back to good health.
